Fox News has announced a new media expansion that includes a licensing agreement with the Ruthless podcast which will be aligned with the division’ssuite of podcasts such as Will Cain Country.Porter Berry, who currently serves as the President and Editor-in-Chief of Fox News Digital, will now add New Media to his role, reporting to Suzanne Scott, CEO of Fox News Media and President & Executive Editor Jay Wallace while maintaining his responsibilities on Digital.Scott said: “The Fox News Media ecosystem we have built over the past seven years continues to thrive and set new records, and the Ruthless deal is a natural extension of our powerhouse brand as audiences reshape how they consume quality content. Additionally, he will drive social media strategy across platforms to increase engagement and reach new audiences where they are. He will also lead the strategic development and oversight of AI-powered tools across Digital and New Media, with an emphasis on enhanced editorial decision making.Berry was named Vice President and Editor-in-Chief of Fox News Digital in 2018. He was later promoted to Executive Vice President in 2021 and then named President of the platform at the end of 2023. Under his leadership, Fox News Digital recently surpassed 51 consecutive months as the top news brand in multiplatform minutes reaching a total average monthly audience of 134 million unique visitors in May.John Sylvester, who currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Fox News Audio, will continue to oversee editorial, production and operations for news-based podcasts, including the Fox News Rundown which routinely ranks in the top five among Fox News produced podcasts.
