Fix Radio is launching its first podcast exclusively for tradeswomen, aiming to connect and amplify their voices across the UK.Tradeswomen Together with Hattie & Steph will be hosted by Hattie Hasan MBE, founder of Stopcocks Women Plumbers and Register of Tradeswomen, alongside Steph Leese, who is known in the industry as The Pink Plasterer.The new bi-weekly podcast will tackle some of the biggest issues faced by women working in trades.Topics include equal pay, skills development, work and life balance, mental health, and the challenges of being the only woman on site.Fix Radio says the podcast also hopes to inspire the next generation of women to get on the tools and start doing it for themselves.Hattie and Steph will share their experiences and bring in guests to create honest, supportive conversations for tradeswomen listening each fortnight.Fix Radio’s Programme Director, Andy Shier said he is thrilled to have secured Hattie and Steph for the show.“We have been looking to start this podcast for a long time, and we’re delighted to have two of the most respected tradeswomen in the industry coming on board for it,” said Shier.“We already have eight other trade shows that tackle the issues that matter most to our audience. This will be a fantastic addition to our portfolio of groundbreaking trade content,” he added.Tradeswomen Together with Hattie & Steph launches on 11 July on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and all major podcast platforms.
